LiftSiren, Android package ltd.tcool.liftsiren, is provided by TCool LTD. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information and how to contact us at [email protected].
Local protection data
LiftSiren uses Motion and wired charging status on your device to provide local movement and charger-unplug alarms. The app stores its settings, selected alarm sound, sound-check status, the number of successful free arms, and the most recent real alarm record in its local Android app storage. It does not send motion readings, charging events, or alarm history to a TCool server.
The app does not require a LiftSiren account. Core protection does not require location, camera, or microphone access. Your six-digit disarm PIN is not stored as plaintext. A salted verifier is protected with Android Keystore-backed storage. If you choose biometric verification, Android handles the biometric prompt; LiftSiren does not receive or store your biometric template.
Google Play Billing
LiftSiren offers a one-time Pro purchase for unlimited arming after the free trial. It is not a subscription. Google Play Billing handles checkout, payment methods, order records, refunds, and purchase restoration under Google’s Privacy Policy and applicable terms.
To verify, acknowledge, and restore a purchase, the app receives information supplied by Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase state, purchase token, and signed purchase data. A local ownership flag supports offline use. The app does not intentionally transmit purchase tokens or receipts to a TCool backend server, and it does not receive your payment-card number, bank account details, or Google account password.
Advertising, analytics, and permissions
The production version of LiftSiren does not request or display advertising and does not include a product-analytics SDK. No advertising identifier is requested by the app. Google Play and Android may separately process store, billing, security, or platform diagnostics according to their own terms and your settings.
The app uses internet access for Google Play purchase and restore operations. It uses Android foreground-service and notification capabilities for active protection, device vibration for alarms, and optional biometric verification for disarming. These functions operate on your device and do not create a TCool account or send protection data to a TCool server.
Retention, deletion, and support
Local settings and records remain on your device until you change them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app, subject to Android and device-manufacturer behavior. Clearing app data resets local settings and may reset the local trial allowance. Eligible Google Play purchases can be restored with the same Google Play account. Google keeps its own order records under its policies.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this information to answer support requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and applicable legal obligations. To request deletion of support information you supplied, email [email protected]. Please do not send PINs, payment details, or other sensitive information in support requests.
This privacy-policy website
Opening this page makes a web request to tcool.ltd, hosted through Cloudflare Pages. The hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and secure the page. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
The TCool website may use Google Analytics to understand website visits. Google may process website interaction information, cookie identifiers, and browser or device information under Google’s Privacy Policy and your browser settings. These website analytics are separate from the LiftSiren Android app. Opening this page does not transmit your protection data or purchase receipt from the app.
Children’s privacy
LiftSiren is a general-purpose utility intended for people aged 13 and older and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly request children’s personal information through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us at [email protected] so we can address it.
