Tank data and settings
The app processes the tank dimensions, liquid levels, optional density values, names, and units you enter to calculate capacity, liquid volume, remaining capacity, and mass. Saved tanks and preferences, including language and decimal precision, are stored locally in the app’s storage on your Android device.
We do not operate a server that receives your tank measurements or saved tanks. The app does not provide its own cloud account, cloud backup, or synchronization service. Core calculations work offline; Google Play purchases and purchase restoration require connectivity to Google Play.
Google Play purchases
Pro is an optional, one-time, non-consumable purchase for unlimited saved tanks and CSV chart export. It is not a subscription. Google Play handles checkout, payment methods, order records, and refunds under Google’s Privacy Policy and its applicable terms. The app does not receive your full payment-card number, bank account details, or Google account password.
To verify and restore Pro access, the app receives purchase information from Google Play, such as the product identifier, purchase state, purchase token, and signed purchase data. It verifies purchases and acknowledges completed purchases through Google Play Billing. A Pro entitlement flag is cached locally. The app does not send purchase tokens or receipts to a TCool backend server.
A successful online purchase check can remove Pro access after a purchase is refunded and revoked. Losing Pro does not delete saved tank records. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app does not delete Google’s purchase records; eligible purchases can be restored through Google Play using the purchasing account.
Exports, clipboard, and support
When you choose CSV export, the app writes the chart and associated tank information to a destination you select in Android’s system file interface. That destination may be local storage or a cloud file provider. Exported copies are controlled by you and, where applicable, the provider you select. Sharing or deleting the app’s local records does not automatically remove exported copies.
Copying a result or feedback details places the selected information on the system clipboard. Feedback details include the app version, Android version, and device model. The app does not automatically email or upload this information. Android and any clipboard or file-sharing services you enable may handle copies under their own settings and policies.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain necessary support records. Please avoid sending sensitive tank information or payment details. We do not use support correspondence for behavioral advertising.
Permissions, advertising, and analytics
The app uses Google Play Billing and network access for purchase-related functions. Its calculation and local tank-management features do not require location, contacts, camera, microphone, or broad storage access. CSV export uses the system destination you select rather than unrestricted file access.
The Android app does not include advertising or an analytics SDK, and does not track your location. No separate TCool app account is required. Google Play and Android may separately process store, billing, security, or platform diagnostics according to their own terms and your settings.
Security, retention, and deletion
Local app data is protected by Android’s application storage controls. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and Google account secure and share exported files only with recipients you trust.
Saved tanks remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app, subject to Android and device-manufacturer behavior. Preferences and locally cached purchase status are removed when app data is cleared. We do not maintain a server-side copy from which tank records can be recovered. System migration or backup features and user-created exports are governed by your device and service settings.
We retain support correspondence only as reasonably needed to answer requests, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. To request deletion of support information you supplied, contact [email protected]. Google maintains its own order records; requests concerning those records must also be directed to Google where applicable.
This privacy-policy website
Opening this page makes a web request to tcool.ltd, which is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. The hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and secure the page. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
The TCool website, including this page, uses Google Analytics to understand website visits. Google may process website interaction information, cookie identifiers, and browser or device information under Google’s Privacy Policy and your browser settings. These website analytics are separate from the Android app, which does not contain an analytics SDK. Opening this page does not transmit your tank measurements or purchase receipt from the app.
Children’s privacy
The app is a general-purpose measurement utility and is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly request children’s personal information through the app. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us through a support request, please contact us so we can address it.
